The Exciting Schedule PWBA bowling
The 2024 PWBA Tour season commences with the PWBA Twin Cities Open at Cedarvale Lanes in Eagan, Minnesota, running from May 2 to 5. The following week, the spotlight shifts to The Cherry Bowl in Rockford, Illinois, for the PWBA Rockford Open (May 9-12). These venues have consistently hosted PWBA events, underscoring their dedication to women’s bowling.
The season’s first major event, the 2024 USBC Queens, is scheduled at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin (May 15-21). This venue boasts a rich history of hosting major championships and has welcomed some of the sport’s most prestigious tournaments.
Smyrna Bowl in Tennessee will host the PWBA Classic Series – Nashville, offering an exceptional treat for bowling enthusiasts. From May 28 to June 3, this event features three separate tournaments, providing an opportunity to witness the world’s finest female bowlers in action.
Clarksville, Indiana, will play host to its inaugural national tour event, the PWBA Southern Indiana Open, from June 6 to 9. This marks the beginning of Blackston Bowl’s journey as a PWBA Tour host center.
The final five events of the tour will be held at renowned centers, including Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis and Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan. The U.S. Women’s Open will make a triumphant return to Royal Pin Woodland from June 11 to 18, after a considerable hiatus. Thunderbowl Lanes will wrap up the 2024 PWBA Tour season with the PWBA Tour Championship Week from August 6 to 13, promising a grand conclusion to the season.
PWBA Tour Championship Week features three tournaments within a week, with the final major of the season being the PWBA Tour Championship, featuring a field of 24 players. Qualification criteria include winning a National Tour title during the 2024 season and points accumulation throughout the season.
In addition to these events, the PWBA and PBA Tours will collaborate for the PBA/PWBA Striking Against Breast Cancer Mixed Doubles at Copperfield Bowl in Houston, offering another thrilling addition to the tour’s schedule.
